About The Role

As a Heathrow Helper Apprentice, you will thrive on connecting with people, enjoy communication and have a sincere drive to brighten someone’s day through kindness and compassion in every interaction. Ethos Farm's main goal is to ensure their journey through the airport is not just enjoyable but also supported to the fullest extent possible. Principal Accountabilities:
  • Managing the efficient flow and congestion of passengers travelling through Heathrow terminals
  • Providing key compliance security messaging to all passengers
  • Liaising with Heathrow Security, Airlines, Ground Handlers, and UK Border Force
  • Interacting and engaging with passengers
  • Supporting passengers with way finding and guidance
  • Physically being able to meet the demands of the role (standing for duration of the shift) 
There is a potential opportunity to progress into a full-time role at the end of the Apprenticeship. Ethos Farm are passionate about developing their people and progressing and promoting from within. About You

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
  • Clear communication and language skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to engage customers warmly and proactively
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm in approaching customers to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • A genuine ‘people person’ who thrives on building positive connections 
 
You will:
  • Be eligible to work in the UK (have lived in the UK for 3 years or more)
  • Be 18 years old or over
  • Be able to work 30 hours per week (shift patterns to be confirmed)
  • Have Excellent verbal communication
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to build relationships
  • Be able to follow instructions
  • Be able to take constructive feedback and learn from mistakes
  • Possess good practical skills and great timekeeping
  • Take pride in their work and accepts responsibility
  • Be committed to the values & expectations of the Apprenticeship Programme
  • Be a team player
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Be enthusiastic and self-motivated to learn and progress 
  • Be willing to complete relevant course work to the best of ability
 
Qualifications (Essential)
  • GCSE’s English and Maths (Grade 4 or above) or equivalent (Level 2 Functional Skills Qualification)
